Dr Joanna Nowill is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, Trauma Specialist and practitioner of EMDR, CBT, Solution Focused Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. She is an EMDR Europe Accredited Practitioner. In addition, she is a practitioner of NLP and hypnosis. She has worked with many sufferers of trauma in a range of clinical settings including the NHS, in Health Psychology, and forensic services. Joanna has lectured in Doctoral level Counselling Psychology and runs training courses in stress management and CBT. She is registered with the British Psychological Society, is HCPC registered and is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the UK Post Traumatic Stress Society. Joanna is an accredited assessor of Emotional Intelligence in the workplace, and is a Wellbeing Coach. She also has a special interest in Aviation Psychology and Human Factors in Aviation.
Samantha Lindley is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, Trauma Specialist and practitioner of Compassionate Mind Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR and CBT. Samantha has a long experience of working in a range of clinical settings with survivors of trauma including forensic services and the NHS. Samantha has experience of working across a number of services within the NHS (including the Palliative-Care, Oncology, Renal and Trauma and Orthopaedic Teams at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital) working with the psychological effects of chronic health conditions on patients and their families. She is registered with the British Psychological Society, is HCPC registered and is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Nicola Gadsby has a diploma in psychodynamic counselling, and also trained at Relate as a couples counsellor, where she currently works part-time. She has worked for two of the largest providers of counselling services in the county for several years, gaining experience with a wide range of clients with many different issues. She is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and as such adheres to the BACP ethical framework.
Nitika Jain is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist. Nitika works with adults and children. She specializes in child psychological problems and their context within the family. She has wide-ranging experience including NHS child and adolescent mental health services and private practice. She is registered with the British Psychological Society and is HCPC registered.
Dr Nicky Dobbin is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and practitioner of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Systemic Therapy. She has worked for many years with adults, children and young people in a range of clinical settings affected by mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety and also substance misuse. For the past fourteen years Nicky has worked in the NHS in the field of Health Psychology and is currently lead clinician for Adult Haematology and Paediatric Diabetes Psychology Services at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She is experienced in working with individuals, couples and families. She is registered with the British Psychological Society and is HCPC registered.
Dr Joe Stratford is a fully qualified consultant psychiatrist registered with the General Medical Council and the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He studied medicine at St Mary’s Hospital Medical School (now part of Imperial College) in London and underwent training as a psychiatrist in London, Bristol and Melbourne, Australia. He has worked as a consultant psychiatrist in the NHS since 2005 and is also a postgraduate tutor responsible for the support and development of junior doctors undergoing training in psychiatry. He is also an approved examiner for the Royal College of Psychiatrists. His main areas of clinical interest are the diagnosis and management of conditions such as depression, anxiety and cognitive/memory disorders such as dementia. Having expertise in dementia, he can offer assessments of mental capacity to support individuals in writing wills or setting up lasting powers of attorney etc.
Andy Flack has been a registered Psychotherapist for 10 years. He is an Integrative Psychotherapist and works in private hospitals (Cygnet Health Group and The Priory Group) and runs his own private practice. Andy specializes in the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety Disorders and Depression. He is also an accredited Performance Psychologist, working with people in sports, business, education and the arts. Andy has additional specialist training in EMDR and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Dr Jackie Withers is a Chartered Clinical and Forensic Psychologist. She has experience working with a wide range of psychological issues in the NHS and independent sector. She is a Registered Psychologist (Clinical and Forensic) with the Health and Care Professions Council and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She is a registered Psychotherapist with the British Psychological Society, she is a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist, and ACAT accredited as a practitioner, psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer. Jackie has been a practitioner of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) for over 20 years. She has trained in a wide range of therapies including EMDR, Schema Therapy and DBT. Jackie is experienced at working with individuals, couples and groups. She has extensive clinical experience working with a wide range of mental health problems including: PTSD and complex trauma, anxiety and phobias, depression, anger, addiction, eating disorders, bereavement and loss etc. In addition, she trains and supervises other Psychologists and Psychotherapists. She is also trained as an Organisational Consultant.
Dr Susan Mayaki studied Medicine at the University of Sheffield Medical School, qualifying in 1994 and has been a Consultant Psychiatrist in Herefordshire, working in the 2Gether Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust since 2012. She specialises in General Adult Psychiatry, with her clinical interests including depressive disorders, medically unexplained disorders, bipolar disorders, psychotic disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, trauma related disorders; anxiety disorders and stress related disorders. She also has special interests in substance misuse and rehabilitation psychiatry. Dr Mayaki is available for review of patients needing an assessment, diagnosis and treatment plan; she is also available for patients, family or statutory bodies who require information or reports on the diagnostic criteria/ diagnosis of/treatment options available for varying disorders. She is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and other statutory organisations; she is also a member of the Hereford Medical Society.
