Covid19
Due to the Covid-19 virus, most of our practitioners are still working predominantly on-line using Zoom, Skype or VSee and this is definitely our preferred option until further notice.  The exception to this is child psychology, which is largely face to face and is now open to you.

If you feel that it is important and necessary for you to do ‘face to face’ work, then we are now able to see you in person providing you sign a Disclaimer which will be sent to you – this is to satisfy the requirements of our insurers. Our office is regularly cleaned and is well ventilated, the chairs are 2m apart and we provide sanitiser. You are requested to wash your hands on arrival and bring your own water bottle.  We are following the guidelines laid out by the government for office workers and in consultation with the guidelines set out by the discipline of Clinical Psychology.

Cheltenham Trauma and Counselling Clinic offers expert care and treatment for a range of common psychological problems. Our team is made up of counselling psychologists, a psychodynamic counsellor and psychiatrists. We are all registered with professional bodies and offer you safe and effective care.

Members of the public looking for counselling services for depression, anxiety, bereavement, OCD, phobias, stress and many other problems, please see our Counselling pages.

Professionals such as consultants, doctors, fire brigades, police, etc., seeking treatment for their patients or staff who suffer from PTSD will find information on this site about the symptoms of PTSD and the treatments offered at Cheltenham Trauma & Counselling Clinic. These include eye movement, desensitization and reprocessing treatment (EMDR), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic counselling.

Parents of children and adolescents who are experiencing difficulties with their emotions or behaviour can find help here through our child counselling psychologist. Please see the Counselling for Children page.

Couples experiencing relationship difficulties can often find effective resolution by talking through issues with an impartial couples counsellor. Please see our Couples Counselling page.
